Book Design
The Design: This book celebrates and showcases the work of graffiti artist, Bansky. In the initial concepts, I explored various iconic pieces as the covers. I decided to use the girl with the balloon as the final cover because it represents Banksy view of the world. There is a sense of innocence in the piece yet, Banksy places this image in rundown areas where children do not get the luxury of innocence. The juxtaposition is the essence of his work and the book and I wanted a cover image that reflected that.
All photography, and written pieces within the artwork are not mine and I claim no rights to them. This was a school project and no money was made. Banksy was simply used as an inspiration.
